We had two PhD proposal presentations in the departmental student forum today!

Yoann presented his project titled:
“Exploiting the evolution of odorant receptors in ants to decipher the olfactory code”
which is an NSF-BSF project in collaboration with the labs of Juergen Liebig and Mickey Kosloff.

Felix presented his project titled:
“Effects of natural selection on collective behavior and genomic variation in colonies of Pogonomyrmex barbatus”
which is an NSF-BSF project in collaboration with the lab of Deborah Gordon.
